We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of mechanical works on our projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and smooth coordination across all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate Mechanical design with consultants, architects, and subcontractors.
- Review and comment on consultant drawings, technical submissions, and design changes.
- Oversee programme planning, progress tracking, and labour forecasts.
- Prepare and review subcontractor packages, scopes of work, and procurement schedules.
- Lead site coordination of Mechanical installations, inspections, commissioning, and handovers.
- Ensure quality assurance, value engineering, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with statutory service providers, surveyors, and management companies at key project stages.
About You:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in MEP or building services.
- Strong understanding of M&E design, coordination, and site delivery.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive projects to completion.

Elmech Ltd. delivers high-quality Mechanical and Electrical Engineering services, working mainly with public sector and commercial clients across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects run safely, on schedule, and to specification.
- Supervise operatives, subcontractors, and apprentices, providing guidance and support.
- Conduct inductions, toolbox talks, and enforce all health & safety requirements.
- Liaise with project managers and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and delivery.
- Monitor quality of work, progress, and maintain site documentation (RAMS, timesheets, reports).
- Assist in planning labour, materials, and equipment.
- Resolve on-site issues and escalate major concerns to management when necessary.
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in plumbing/mechanical works.
- Proven supervisory or team leader experience is an advantage.
- Valid CSCS Card (Gold/Black Supervisor card desirable).
- Strong knowledge of health & safety and site compliance.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manage workflows effectively.
